Automatic deletion of Learning Catalytics courses
The Pearson student-data privacy policy requires that we delete student data after two years. Once a course reaches the two-year mark, Pearson will send you an email explaining that your Learning Catalytics course will be deleted. The email gives you a time frame and actions that you can take to preserve the course content and student data.
If your course has not reached the two-year limit, you can update the course settings to specify a course end date in the future. If the course has been active for two years, you can export the gradebook or specific results, or you can copy the course's modules and questions. For information on using these options, see the following:
- Change the course's end date. (Show the steps.)
- Copy the course modules and questions (but not the student data). (Show the steps.)
- Download all results from the course's Gradebook in a .csv format. (Show the steps.)
- Retain specific module results by downloading the student results in a .csv format. (Show the steps).
