Grades as points or percentages/letters

Your instructor decides whether the MyLab displays assignment grades in the gradebook as percentages or the number of points earned.

As another example, assume your instructor created a composition assignment with two drafts. The first draft is worth 20 points and the second draft is worth 50 points. The maximum number of points you can earn on this assignment is 70.

Now assume that you earned 20 points on the first draft and 40 on the second. The gradebook would display the grade as follows:

Note: Displaying grades as points applies only to assignments. The MyLab scores all Resource exercises on a percentage basis, with 100 being the highest score.
