Registration Overview

Welcome! You enter a course ID, and account and payment information to register for access to your instructor's online course. For credit card and PayPal purchases, you can review a summary of your registration before confirming that it's complete. After you register, you receive an email with your username and a link to your course. Keep this email for reference, for example, if you forget your username.

Access Your Course

To access your course immediately after registration, click Go to Your Course on the Confirmation page. In most cases, you don't need to enter your username and password again.

To access your course later on, go to the course website or http://portal.mypearson.com/portal/. Click Sign In, and enter your username and password.

Your registration gives you access to a course for a certain length of time. To find out when your access ends, see the Confirmation page after your registration or go to http://portal.mypearson.com/portal/.

Cancel Your Registration

If you can't complete the registration for any reason, close your browser window or click Cancel, if available.

After you cancel, if you entered an access code, it becomes available to be used for another registration. If you entered credit card or PayPal information, you aren't charged.

When you're ready to register, go to the course website or http://portal.mypearson.com/portal/. If you canceled the original registration after creating a new account, you can use your new username and password when you start the registration again.

Browser Settings

Your browser must be set to accept cookies and support SSL and JavaScript.

Accept Cookies

Your browser must be set to accept cookies. Cookies contain information about your use of a website and are stored on your computer. Cookies are usually turned on by default in your browser. Pearson registration uses only session or temporary cookies, which expire when you close your browser. These cookies don't contain personal identifying data and are only used to make sure that the information you enter on a registration page comes from your browser.

Support SSL

Your browser must be set to support SSL, which is usually turned on by default. To protect your privacy, the registration pages are transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

If you can't view the registration pages and can't find the information you need in browser Help, contact your network administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Support JavaScript

Your browser must be set to support JavaScript, which is usually turned on by default. JavaScript adds dynamic capabilities to web pages.
