Help: Pearson Account Profile

The PEARSON ACCOUNT PROFILE page shows the information that you entered for your user account: email address, login name, password, and security hint. You can also see all the products you can access from this account.

Tip: You can go to any product website just by clicking the link on the Pearson Account Profile page.

The EDIT ACCOUNT INFORMATION page is where you edit and update your account information:

  • Under Personal Information, you can select a Title (Mr., Ms., Mrs.) (this is optional). You can also edit your email address. If you need to change your first name or last name, please contact the Pearson Education Product Support team.
  • Under School Information, you can select a different school from the list, or choose Other if your school is not on the list.
  • Under Login Name and Password, you can edit your login name and password. Follow the guidelines in the See Acceptable Characters section.
  • Under Security Question, you can choose a different question and answer, or change the answer to the original question.
  • Once you are done, click Save. If there are errors, you'll see a message about what fields to change.
  • Click Email Account Profile if you want your user account information sent to you in email.

Registering for another product? Use the same login name and password for all your courses! With just one Pearson Education user account, you'll see all your courses listed in one Account Profile. And you only need to remember one login name and password.

You can also enroll in a new CourseCompass course or join a new online class. Be sure that you have:

  • An up-to-date email address and personal information
  • A CourseID (for CourseCompass) or ClassID (for an online class)
  • Printed access code (or credit card if you are buying online)

Some courses or classes use the same textbook for the next semester, so you might not need to buy a new book.
