Using Notes and Highlights
Notes are comments about a resource. Pearson Collections supports private notes that only you see.
You can also highlight areas of text. These areas shade the text background and may have private notes associated with them.

- Select Edit Collection for the Collection containing the resource you want to change.
- Select Preview and locate the resource.
- Navigate in the resource to the location you want to highlight or comment upon.
- Click and drag to highlight text then select the color of the highlight. To add a private note, enter the text in the dialog box that appears. The text is automatically saved.

- Select Edit Collection for the Collection containing the highlights you want to view.
- Select Preview, open the left tray (
), and select Notes.
- Select a note from the tray and then select the highlighted area in the resource to display the notes dialog box. To edit the note or highlight, use the dialog box to select a different highlight color and change the text. The text is saved automatically.
