Preview an individual resource
Whenever you search for content and find something you want to include in a Collection you can preview it. Previewing content lets you interact and view it the way your students will. Select an item's title to preview it; select the x in the top right corner to close it.
To page through a text-based resource, use one of the following methods:
- Move the slider to the left or right to locate a specific page.
- Enter the exact page number you want to see in the Page field.
- Click in the Page field to view the arrow buttons; click the top arrow to move to the next page and click the bottom arrow to move to the previous page.
- Use the arrow keys at the bottom right.
To change the magnification of a resource, select a magnification percentage from the list. For example, to see a resource at 50% magnification, select 50% from the list. You can also zoom in and out one level of magnification by clicking the magnifying glass, as the following image shows.
To play a video, click its Play button.
To make the resource a favorite, click the item's Favorites icon
To add the resource to a Collection from the preview player:
- Display the sliding panel on the left by selecting the Action menu icon.
- Click Add to a Collection.
- Do one of the following tasks:
- Select the Collection you want to add content to.
- Create a new Collection by selecting Create a Collection, entering a name and description for the Collection, and selecting Create.
- Do one of the following tasks:
- Click Add and stay here to add the content to your Collection and return to the Curated Collection.
- Click Add and edit Collection to add the resources to your Collection and start editing it. You will find the copied modules and resources at the bottom of the Collection.
