Upload a video

Your instructor can set up MediaShare assignments that accept video submissions. When you upload a video, you can make it available to the entire class, just a group of students and the instructor, or only the instructor.

MediaShare accepts the following video file formats: .flv, .asf, .qt, .mov, .avi, .wmv, .mp4, .f4v, .mpeg, .mxf, .rm, and .3gp.

Note: If your uploaded video isn't published right away, check with your instructor before uploading it again. Your instructor may be monitoring and then publishing assignment submissions.

To upload a video:

  1. Open the assignment.
  2. Click the Upload Video button, across from the assignment's title near the top of the page.
  3. Do one of the following:
  4. Complete the entries on the Edit My Submission page.
