Importing Customizations

If your eText has a course associated with it you might have the option to import notes and highlights created by other instructors. The simplest way to determine if you have this feature is to click the Settings link and look for the Create New Course button. If you see this button, you can import notes and highlights after you create a course.

To import customizations into a course you are creating:

1. Click Settings in the upper right of the page.
2. Click the My Courses tab if it is not the active tab
3. Click Create New Course from My Other Courses box on the My Courses tab.
4. Enter the course information, and click Create Course. The Course Creation Complete page appears.
5. Click Import Customizations from the Import Notes, Highlights and Customization box on the Course Creation Complete page.
6. Select one of your courses from the My Courses tab, and click Import.

   or

   1. Click the Public Courses tab.
   2. Search for a course by eText Course ID, Course Title, or Instructor Last Name ; and click Search.
   3. Select the course and click Import.

To import customizations into a course you have already created:

1. Click Settings in the upper right of the page.
2. Click Import Customizations in the Course Information box on the My Courses tab.
3. Select one of your courses from the My Courses tab, and click Import. 

   or

   1. Click the Public Courses tab.
   2. Search for a course by eText Course ID, Course Title, or Instructor Last Name; and click Search.
   3. Select the course and click Import.
