Using the Glossary

1. Click the Glossary accordion bar in the left navigation pane or click the Glossary button from the toolbar to open and view the Glossary.
2. If your eText is available in multiple languages, select the language you want to use from the Select the Language menu. If your eText is not available in multiple languages only the supported language appears.

3. Click a letter button (for example, A, G, or S) to jump down and see the list of glossary terms starting with that letter on the right. For example, if you click G all the key terms starting with 'G' appear. You can use the scroll bar to move down through the list as needed.
4. Click a glossary entry to view the term and definition.
5. If available, click the Audio button to hear the term and its definition.

Click a word or phrase in the eText that has a color treatment for Glossary terms when the Show Links button is selected. For example, if Glossary terms appear with light blue highlighting in your eText, select one of these terms to open the Glossary window.

The Glossary window opens and displays the term and definition for the selected word or phrase.
