Using the Table of Contents

The navigation pane includes a Table of Contents accordion bar for the eText.

Your eText may not include a left navigation pane or may hide the navigation pane. Refer to Displaying the navigation pane to show a hidden navigation pane.

To navigate within the eText using the Table of Contents:

1. Click the Table of Contents accordion bar in the left navigation pane to open it.
2. Double-click the folder to expand another level in the Table of Contents, repeating this action to view a section (module, unit, chapter, or heading, for example) in the eText.
3. Click a section to view the starting page in that particular section. The corresponding page opens in the right pane and the page number appears in the Page text box in the toolbar.

Note: When you navigate among pages using the toolbar buttons, the blue highlighted item in the Table of Contents navigation pane does not track the page displayed in the content area.
