Open an eTextbook from the Pearson+ app

1. Open your eTextbook at least once from your course in a browser.
   This action associates your Pearson account with the eTextbook for your course.
2. From your tablet or phone, download the Pearson+ app.
   • From an app store —
     Pearson+ app for Android or Pearson+ app for iOS
   • From your MyLab or Mastering course in a browser —
     Select Pearson eTextbook or eText from the course menu. On the page that opens, select Pearson+ app (in MyLab) or select iOS or Android (in Mastering).
   • From the Pearson+ site on the web —
     • Signed in to your MyLab or Mastering course
       Select an app store link from the Download Pearson+ app area (top right) or choose Download the Mobile app (page bottom) then select an app store link.
     • NOT signed in to your MyLab or Mastering course
       Select Download on the App Store or Get it on Google Play under GET THE APP at the bottom of the page.
3. Sign into the app with the same username and password you use for your course. You remain signed in unless you explicitly sign out.

   After you cross over into the app from your course at least once, you can open your eTextbook from the app.

4. Select a book title then  Download book from the app.
   Downloading usually takes just seconds. The eTextbook then opens automatically.
   • Downloading your book lets you work with most eTextbook features when you're not connected to the internet. The audiobook requires an internet connection.
   • The book covers of downloaded eTextbooks appear brighter than others.
   • The next time you open the app, select your downloaded eTextbook then .

1. From an open eTextbook in the Pearson+ app , select to return to the Pearson+ home page.
2. Select an eTextbook from the library of texts associated with your account.
   

   Students can choose from an eTextbook associated with a course or one for which they have purchased a subscription.
   

   • If you select an eTextbook you haven’t opened yet —
     Select  Download book. (Downloading your book lets you work with most features when you're not connected to the internet.) After you download an eTextbook, select to view it.
   • Search your eTextbook library —
     Select then enter the book's title, author, or ISBN.
   • If you see multiple book covers for the same title and edition —
     Select a book cover to see which “Course title” it is associated with.

When you first select a book title in the app, it automatically downloads to your device so you can work with it offline.

1. Open the Pearson+ app on your mobile device.
   If an eTextbook is open, select  to return to the Pearson+ app home for your account.
2. Select the book cover of the downloaded eTextbook you want to delete.
   Downloaded book covers are brighter than covers for the books you haven't downloaded.

4.  Select  Remove from device.
