Remove a title from Golden Gate

Undeploying or deleting a title in Golden Gate also deletes any associated live Revel courses or live eText 2.0 titles. For Revel titles, consider instead getting the title removed from Exchange.

Remove a Revel title from Exchange to stop end-user access to any additional courses

Instructors who want to evaluate or adopt Revel titles for their students can search Pearson Exchange (http://exchange.pearson.com). Removing a title from Exchange:

• Disallows any further end-user purchases for the title.
• Maintains any existing Revel courses that users may already be participating in.

To get a Revel title removed from Exchange: Contact the Release Management team at websiterelease@pearson.com with your request and identify the title and edition. (The removal is done by the GridTools team.)

When you actually need to remove a title from Golden Gate

Note that either undeploying or deleting a title in Golden Gate also deletes any associated live Revel courses or live eText 2.0 title.

Undeploy and delete a title in Golden Gate:

• Undeploy the Live version by clicking the x next to the "Live" icon in the Deployments column of the Reviewing Book Title page.
• Go to the main Golden Gate book screen and click Delete under the Action column.
