Rumba integration scenarios
Platform ID-1 (Authentication) integration scenario:
- Allows any RUMBA user to access a title within eText 2.0
- Does NOT require a subscription to an institution and/or Resource.

eText 2.0 Bookshelf feature: Not supported.
Platform ID-2 (Authentication and Authorization) integration scenario:
- Requires a user to have both a valid RUMBA account AND a subscription to a Resource ID associated with a book and/or books to access the title within eText 2.0.

eText 2.0 Bookshelf integration scenario:
Requires a user to have both a valid RUMBA account AND a subscription to a Resource ID associated with a book and/or books to access the title within eText 2.0.
Add RUMBA Resource IDs and SMS Module IDs
- Do the following to add a single RUMBA Resource IDs/SMS Module ID
- Enter the RUMBA Resource ID or SMS Module ID in the Module ID column.
- If you are ready for this title to be live and available for end users, make sure the Live check box is selected.
- Leave the following entries BLANK. (They are not enabled.)
- Prod ID
- Type
- URL
- Do the following to add multiple RUMBA Resource IDs/SMS Module IDs:
- To associate multiple RUMBA Resource IDs/SMS Module IDs with a single book, select and enter the Resource/Module ID.
- Primary ID: By default, the first Resource/Module ID entered for the book is the primary ID.
- Live check box: If the title is ready to be live and available to end users, make sure the Live check box is selected for EACH Resource/Module ID.
- Complete all your edits, then select Continue.
