What is Mission Bay?

Mission Bay is the Pearson proprietary tool used to configure and publish content for eText 2.0 products ONLY. Use Mission Bay to do the following tasks for eText 2.0 titles:

• Load single titles or, using Bulk Ingestion, up to 25 titles at a time into Mission Bay.
• View a list of ingested titles and their current status, such as Published or In-Progress.
• Edit basic metadata information, such as title, author, and ISBN.
• Create Backlinks and Content Bundles for use with MyLab and Mastering courses.
• Choose whether to show or hide eText 2.0 interface elements in the published title, such as the Glossary, Bookshelf, or Table of Contents.
• Specify identity management information for SMS Module IDs and RUMBA Resource IDs.
• Push an eText 2.0 title live.
