When Learning Catalytics courses are deleted
Updated 05 Mar 2024
The Pearson student-data privacy policy requires that we delete student data after two years.
Once a course reaches the two-year mark, Pearson sends you an email explaining that your Learning Catalytics course will be deleted. The email gives you a time frame and actions that you can take to preserve the course content and student data.
If your course has not reached the two-year limit, you can update the course settings to specify a course end date in the future. If the course has been active for two years, you can export the gradebook or specific results, or you can copy the course's modules and questions.

- Click the course's gear icon
and select Settings.
- Change the End Date and select Save.

- Select Copy a course.
- Select the course that you want to copy.
Learning Catalytics creates a copy of the course, and the copy has the modules and questions from the original course.

- Click the course's gear icon and select Gradebook.
- Select the Download link.

- Click a module's gear icon and select Review results.
- Select Download results, then select the student-result format you want.
