Transfer Learning Catalytics scores

When you create or edit a module, you can request that student scores for the session in which you deliver the module be automatically transferred to your Pearson course Gradebook after you stop the session.

1. For Gradebook Transfer, select the option to send grade data.
2. [Optional] If you want your selection to be the default value for new modules you create, select the option to do so.

• If you do not select the Gradebook Transfer check box when creating a module, assignments for that module's session appear in the MyLab only while the session is in progress so that students can easily join the session. When you end the session, the assignment and its grades are deleted from the MyLab and its Gradebook. You can edit the module to select the Gradebook Transfer option. Then when you deliver sessions, the session assignments, including the previous sessions, will be re-created and the grades transferred.
• When a session's grades are transferred to the MyLab Gradebook, the date/time the session ended is added to the MyLab's assignment list as a due date.
• If you select both Grade Transfer and Hide sessions for this module from students, Learning Catalytics will transfer grades to the MyLab Gradebook when you stop the module's session.

• Typically a module is delivered in a single session, but if you deliver a module in more than one session in the same course, scores for each session are transferred separately and appear in separate columns in your Pearson course Gradebook.

• Any edits to a Learning Catalytics module's scoring parameters always affect scores for all sessions of that module, even those that have already been delivered in the same Learning Catalytics course. If you don't want to affect scores for sessions already delivered, consider cloning the module within the course. Doing so lets you deliver the same content using separate modules.

• You can edit individual student session scores in the Learning Catalytics Gradebook. Any changes you make are automatically transferred and updated in your Pearson course Gradebook.

  Important: If you edit a student's score, that score remains static even if you change participation weighting or point values in the module.
