Review correct answers and your responses

If your instructor has enabled the review option for earlier sessions, you can reinforce your understanding or study for an exam by choosing Review older class sessions from the Welcome! page.

Notes:

  • You must sign in from a computer to review a session.
  • Your instructor may set a waiting period before you can review a past session.

You don't see numeric scores

In Learning Catalytics, you don't see numeric scores. Instead you see how many of your answers were correct.

A window shows this text: Of the 5 questions with a correct answer--that is, questions that could be automatically graded--you answered 5 correctly. You responded to 0 of the 0 questions that had no correct answer.

If your instructor has transferred your scores to a Mastering or MyLab course gradebook, you see numeric scores there.

Your numeric scores in those gradebooks depend on how your instructor has weighted your scores in Learning Catalytics and whether they have scored questions that have no single correct answer.

What you do see

When you review a session, you see your response, the correct answer (if the question has one), and an explanation (if one is stored with the question).

You may see more feedback and results for yourself or the whole class.

Even if the question has no correct answer, you'll see whether your response has been manually marked correct. You might also see specific comments about your response from your instructor.

For Slide questions, if your instructor presented PowerPoint slides that appeared in Learning Catalytics on your device, you can see all the slides that were presented during the session.
