Show Mapping parameter (Marvin)
This parameter enables the Map menu options in MarvinSketch. When the student assigns mapping numbers, the numbers are displayed in blue next to the atoms.
- The Show Mapping parameter is only used with the Map Property Expression. When the Map Property Expression is included in a problem, the Show Mapping parameter must be checked.
- The answer type solutionOchemMechanism does not provide a map property expression, so the mapping parameter is not used for mechanism problems.
In this example, the student is assigning map number 1 to the bromine atom.
