Sort and preview assignable items
Updated 19 Feb 2024
As you create or edit an assignment, the Items page shows columns of information for the items found in the Item Library, based on the search criteria you selected. The same columns (except the assign/unassign check box) appear on the Item Library page, where you can preview, but not assign, content.
To sort the found items by any column — Select the column heading or its arrows. To reverse the sort, select the same heading again. Items are sorted within any groupings, such as concepts, sections, or publisher-provided learning outcomes, that are specified in your filter criteria.

Tip: It’s often a good idea to assign an item more than once, particularly the items in the Introduction to Mastering assignment, which introduce students to how to answer different kinds of questions.
