Print or export learning outcomes and results

To create reports to share with colleagues or your administration, you can print or export learning outcome summary or detail information for the course.

You can also use these procedures to print or export a list of learning outcomes for the course, even if students haven't begun work to generate results.

  1. Open the Gradebook by selecting Instructor Tools, then Gradebook from the course menu. Or, select Gradebook from the Mastering Performance area of the Course Home.
  2. Select "" Learning Outcomes Summary.

    When available, publisher-provided Learning Outcomes are shown by default.

  3. To show only your own custom learning outcomes (  My Learning Outcomes), select Hide Provided Learning Outcomes.

    This option appears only if publisher-provided learning outcomes are associated with items in the course.

  4. Select Click to expand for a learning outcome to show the assignments and items associated with the outcome
  5. Select "" Print and enter any printer settings.

  4. To export only your own custom learning outcomes (  My Learning Outcomes), select Hide Provided Learning Outcomes.

    This option appears only if publisher-provided learning outcomes are associated with items in the course.

  5. Select  Export.
  6. Choose one of the following export options and then select Export. See a table that compares these export types).
    • Summary exports high-level data for each learning outcome.
    • Item Details exports data for each assignment item that is associated with every outcome.
    • Student Item Details exports every student's score for each item associated with every learning outcome.
  7. When prompted, either Open or Save the .csv file.
  8. As needed, edit the spreadsheet to delete or rename column heads, sort data, or provide other information.
