Copying a Mastering course removes any former student data in the new course. How to work with a copied course

Student data is removed from the course a year after the course end date

This data includes student names, grades, and any learning outcomes. The assignments and other course content remain.

Student data is also removed when you copy a course.

Preserve student grades and other progress data from a course

Export a copy of student scores from your Gradebook for your records.
Print or export learning outcomes, if you used Learning Outcomes in your course.
