About students with Dropped status

If you ask the course administrator at your institution to assign Dropped status to a student:

  • The student's name remains in the Mastering Gradebook.
  • The student's failing scores could skew the diagnostic statistics for the course.

If this is a problem for you, contact customersuccess@pearson.com to request removal of students with Dropped status from the Mastering Gradebook.
