Open a course for student self-enrollment
- Select the course that you want to open.
- Select Course Settings from the course menu or from the Getting Started area of the Course Home.
- If this is a copied course, make sure "Copy of" doesn't appear in the Course Title.
- Under Enrollment Settings, select the Open option.
- Select Save.
Students can now enroll in the course, provided you've given them the course ID.
View the list of students enrolled in your course
- Select the course for which you want to see list of enrolled students.
- Select Roster from the course menu.
The Roster page shows IDs, usernames, email addresses, and status for all enrolled students. You can export this information to a .csv file.
Close a course for student self-enrollment
After all students have enrolled in your course and the drop/add period at your school has passed, consider closing your course from further enrollment. This can prevent phantom students from entering it for cheating purposes.
- Select the course that you want to close.
- Select Course Settings from the course menu or from the Getting Started area of the Course Home.
- Under Enrollment Settings, select the Closed option.
- Choose Save.
