Change your access from one Mastering course to another
Updated 13 Feb 2024
If you registered and joined (enrolled in) a Mastering course in a particular discipline (Mastering Chemistry, Mastering Biology, etc.) in error and need to be in different Mastering course, you can join the correct course and get disenrolled from the original course.
To change your enrollment from one Mastering course to another
- Join the second course by entering its course ID.
- Ask the instructor of your first Mastering course to disenroll you from that course. (Otherwise, Mastering may enter a series of failing assignment scores for you.) Once you're disenrolled from a course, you will no longer be able to sign in to it.
If you worked on any assignments in the first course
Ask the instructor to make a record your scores from the original course BEFORE disenrolling you. The instructor for your new course can then add your scores to the gradebook for the new course.
