Change your Pearson account information

After you associate your Pearson user account with Mastering, you can update information in this account at any time. For example, you might want to update your email address or change your password.
Why it's important to keep your Pearson account email address current
Your instructor may send you messages or course announcements by email. Support may also use this same email address if you contact Pearson Support.
Edit your user account information
- From your Mastering course, select your name next to the person symbol (upper right). Screen reader users: Choose Access account or sign out.
About the name in this area:
This name matches the first name you entered when you registered for Mastering. (You cannot change this name in your user account, unless you contact Pearson Support to request the change.) - Choose Account.
- Select Edit Profile.
- Log in to your account.
Enter your Login Name and Password and choose Log In. If prompted to sign in again, enter your username and password and choose Sign In. - Select Edit to the right of the information you want to change, make your change, and select Done.
- Choose Sign Out (top right) or close the window or tab.
- Select Back (top left) to return to your course.
