Sign in to Mastering

After you register and join a Mastering course, you can sign in to your Mastering course until it ends.
To sign in to Mastering
- Go to the Mastering website for your course of study, such as www.pearson.com/mastering/biology or www.pearson.com/mastering/aandp.
- Enter your username (login name) and password from registration.
- Select Sign In. You'll see one of the following:
- The Course Home page for a Mastering course, if you've already joined a course by providing its course ID. Show me a sample Course Home page
- The Join Your Online Course page. (You'll see this page if you've registered for a Mastering course, but haven't joined it yet.) Select Yes if you received a course ID from your instructor and enter the ID. Select Continue. If asked, enter your student ID and select Continue to go to the Course Home page for the Mastering course.
- The Welcome to Mastering page, with the options to Join a Course with its Course ID, Launch Your eText, or Explore the Study Area. Each time you sign in, you'll see this same page unless you join a course. Opening the Study Area may also provide an option to open the Pearson eText. More about study resources
Reasons you may be unable to sign in to a course
- The course has ended. You cannot sign in to a Mastering course after its end date.
- You have been suspended or disenrolled.
Tips
- If you've joined multiple courses in a Mastering discipline (such as Physics),
the course you see when you sign in is the course in which you were last working. How to switch your view to a different course - If you have any issues signing in to Mastering:
