Set up folders in File Manager

Because the files you upload are available to you across all your English MyLab courses, you may want to create folders in File Manager to help you manage the files. For example, you could set up a separate folder for each course that you teach. You can also move files from one folder to another.

To add a folder:

  1. Click the Post Files button (under Course Documents on the Home page) to open the File Manager.
  2. Enter the folder's name in the text box next to the Create Folder button.
  3. Click the Create Folder button.

The folder is added to the My Files list in the File Manager. The folders are listed in the order in which you created them.

To delete a folder:

You can delete only an empty folder (one with no files).

  1. Click the Post Files button (under Course Documents on the Home page) to open the File Manager.
  2. Click the folder you want to delete in the My Files list.
  3. Click the Delete Folder button.

Tip: You can also move files from one folder to another.
