Email students
Use this procedure to send an email to all students in the course or to an individual student.
When you send an email to all students, the MyLab places their email addresses on the BCC line. This prevents students' email addresses from being made public to everyone in the class.
To send an email to one or all students:
- Display the roster.
- Do one of the following to select the email To addresses:
- Click a student's email address to send an email to that student.
- Click the Mail All Students button to send an email to all students in the roster.
- Complete the email.
- (Optional) Enter the email addresses of additional recipients in the To text box or remove extraneous addresses. (Separate email addresses with a semicolon.)
- (Optional) Enter CC and additional BCC email addresses.
- (Optional) Attach a file by clicking the Browse button and selecting the file. To add more files, click the Attach Another File link.
- Enter the Subject and Message text.
- Click the Send Mail button.
Tip: If your students do not seem to be receiving your emails, have them check their junk or spam mail folder.
