Announcements

There are two types of announcements:

• Announcements that you post for your students
• General Announcements from the MyLab team

Announcements you post for your students

Any announcements you post for your students are displayed on the MyLab's Home page. For more information, see Post announcements for your students.

General announcements

General Announcements are posted by the MyLab team. These announcements welcome you to a new course and provide tips and links on using the MyLab. Similarly, the General Announcements that are posted for your students focus on their work in the MyLab.

General Announcements are displayed at the top of the MyLab's Home page. When the MyLab team posts a new message, it is automatically displayed when you next enter the MyLab. After reading the announcement you can hide it. You can also reopen the hidden announcement.

To open and close General Announcements on the MyLab's Home page:

1. Click the Home tab.
2. Click the Hide button to close the announcement window.
3. Click the General Announcements link to display the General Announcements window.
