WriteClick

WriteClick is an automated tool that acts as your personal editor. WriteClick analyzes your writing and provides corrections, suggestions, and explanations all aimed at helping you improve your writing skills. WriteClick provides the following assessments and information:

WriteClick copies your text into its review window and displays its edits, suggestions, and corrections. For documents that exceed the WriteClick 3000-character limit, you need to copy and paste segments of the document into the review window. You then use the review window to accept or ignore the WriteClick markups and apply them to your text.

WriteClick can review your writing in most text-based applications and runs on a system-wide basis. Once you download and install WriteClick, it is available to review your writing in most courses and applications, including Microsoft® Office Outlook® email.

The instructor controls whether a MyLab course provides access to WriteClick. (Any students working in the MyLab on their own rather than in an instructor's course automatically have access to WriteClick.) When you can download and install WriteClick, the course's Home page displays the WriteClick icon and link.

This link takes you to a Pearson-hosted site where only MyLab users can download WriteClick. This website also has information about WriteClick and the instructions for downloading and installing it.

When you acquire WriteClick through a MyLab, you receive a one-year license and you can download WriteClick up to three times in that year. To continue using WriteClick past the one-year license, you need to contact WhiteSmoke directly. (WriteClick is powered by WhiteSmoke.)
