Alerts Report
The MyLab generates alerts when students have not achieved
mastery in a topic after exhausting all exercises. An alert can also be triggered when a student exhausts all Lexile diagnostics at his or her current Lexile level. The Alerts report is a summary of these alerts.
To display the Alerts report:
-
Click the Gradebook tab.
- Click Alerts.
The Alerts report is also available from
the Home page; click the number of Alerts in the My Course block.
As you review the report, note the following:
- Alert Archive: Click this button to display any archived alerts.
- Export: Click this button to export the report as a Microsoft Office Excel file.
- Print: Click this button to print the report.
- Skill: Click a topic link to display the student's
scores in the topic's exercises. You can then
reset the scores so the student can try the exercises again.
- Archive: Use the check boxes in this column to archive alerts. This is particularly useful if the list of alerts becomes too long or if you want to view
only recent alerts. To archive an alert, select
the check box in the alert's row. Then click the Archive
button. Or, to archive all the alerts, select the Archive check box (in the column heading), then click the Archive button.
