Class Summary Report
The Class Summary report gives you an overall view of how your students are doing. This report displays summary scores for the course (all students) and for each student. In addition, you can click a student's name to display the Student Detail report for that student.
To display the Class Summary report:

Click the Gradebook tab.
- Click Class Summary.
Report Details
Click one of the following links for more information on the report.
Drop-down lists, icons, and links displayed across the top of the report
Scores Displayed: Use this drop-down to choose whether to view the Recent, Average, or Highest scores
in this report.
- Highest: The average of a student's highest scores for each completed exercise set in a topic
- Recent: The average of a student's most recent scores for each completed exercise set
- Average: The average of a student's average scores for each completed exercise set.
: Place the mouse
pointer over Icon Key to display a pop-up of the icons used in the
report. When applicable, the icons are displayed next to a student's name.
: Place the mouse pointer over this link to display the export options. Then select an option to export to a CSV or Microsoft Office Excel file. The MyLab exports this report one page at time. That is, if the list of students runs more than one page, you need to export each page separately.

Report contents
Use the horizontal scroll bar to view all the report's columns.
Student: This column displays the student names and any applicable report icons. (To view the icon legend, place the mouse pointer over Icon Key, above the report columns.) You can click a student's name to display the Student
Detail report for that student.
Overall: These columns show the students' average scores and average time on task for both the course and each student.
Mastery: The Diagnostic column shows the number of topics a student has mastered as a result of the diagnostic pre-tests. The Course column displays the number of topics a student has mastered by achieving at least the minimum mastery level score on the topic's exercises. The Remaining column has the number of topics that the student has yet to master.
Diagnostics: These columns display the students' results from the reading-skills pre-test and post-test diagnostics.
Reading Skills: These columns display the student scores for each topic. You can click a topic's title to display the Topic Detail report.
Reading Level: These two columns display each student's initial and current Lexile measures. The Initial Lexile Measure is from the reading-level diagnostic that the student completed when first entering the course. The Current Lexile Measure is from the reading-level topic the student last worked on.
