When your instructor is requiring that you take the diagnostic pre-tests before you can have full access to the course, the MyLab displays the Diagnostic Required screen when you enter the course. This screen lists the required diagnostic pre-tests, and you cannot access any other course materials until you complete the pre-tests.
In addition to reading-skill diagnostics, your instructor may also require that you complete the Lexile Diagnostic. This pre-test evaluates your reading level. The procedures for completing both the reading-skill and Lexile diagnostic tests follow.

If you want to quit and finish the test later, click the Stop to Resume Later button. When you re-enter the diagnostic test, it picks up where you left off.
