Set MyTest preferences

Use the Use the Preferences > MyTest page to include deliver the master course as a MyTest course and to define testbank details, upgrade settings, and print settings in MyTest course and an upgraded course.

Note: Preference pages are never available to teaching assistants.

Tip: If you are not sure what a preference setting means, place your cursor over the Help icon to see a tip.

To view or modify MyTest preferences for your course:

1. Click Preferences in the top-right corner of the page.
2. Click MyTest in the Instructor column.

Print settings

You can specify the default settings for the printed test.

Caution: Pearson designed and tested MyTest using default test settings. Changing these default settings is not recommended.

Page Setup

• Margins: Set the top, bottom, left, and right page margins. The default is 1.0 inch.
• Headers and Footers: Set the header and footer distance from the edge of the page. The default is 0.5 inch.

Format

• Font: Choose a font face. The default is Times New Roman.
• Font Size: Choose a font size. The default is 10 point.

Save preferences

To save your choices, click Save Preferences.

Caution: If you go to another page before you save your changes, your changes are discarded and the previous settings are maintained.
