You can delete assets so they are no longer available to you as teaching resources and you can remove assets from your course so they are no longer available to students.
Note: Teaching assistants must have permission to remove assets. Within a course, instructors use the course Preferences > Permissions page to determine if teaching assistants can remove material.

You can remove assets you added to your course. After assets are removed from your course, they are no longer visible to students. You can always re-add assets from the Course Materials Library, but this can be a time consuming task. A better option is to use the Show/Hide feature described earlier in this topic.
If you remove an asset that already has submissions, the column is removed from the gradebook, and any applicable calculations or reports you generate no longer include that asset.

To remove one or more assets, select the assets and then click Remove on the toolbar.
Caution: After you delete assets from the Course Materials Library, they cannot be recovered. If the asset appears in your course, after you delete it, it is no longer available in the course. Therefore, use caution before you delete assets from the library.
