Create coordinator courses

1. Sign in to www.pearsonmylabandmastering.com using your Pearson instructor account.
2. At the top of your courses list, click Create/Copy Course.
3. Search or browse for the course.
4. Click Create Coordinator Course to the right of the course title.

   If you see Select Course Materials instead, the course is a standard course without sections, not a coordinator course. Not all courses have coordinator versions available.

5. Enter the requested course information and click Create Coordinator Course Now.
6. Make a note of the coordinator course’s ID that appears on the Confirmation page.
7. Choose whether to return to the Courses page, create or copy another course, or log out.
8. When you receive an email informing you that the coordinator course has been created, return to www.pearsonmylabandmastering.com and log in, if necessary.
9. Find the coordinator course. The title of a coordinator course begins with "Coord:".
10. Click Details to the right of the course title and click Course Settings.
11. Click Course Dates, Type and Copy Settings.
12. Under Course Type, select For Instructor Use Only so students cannot enroll in the coordinator course.

If you do not select For Instructor Use Only, students who try to enroll in the course receive an error and cannot access the course.
