Run embedded student reports

These reports provide summary data on the number of activities attempted, passed, and failed, and the average score for those activities.

When enabled in the course, the available embedded student reports are:

All Students and All Activities: Shows information for all students on all activities.
All Students and Displayed Activities: Shows information for all students on only those activities currently displayed on the Gradebook > Grades page.
Selected Students and All Activities: Shows information for selected students on all activities.
Selected Students and Displayed Activities: Shows information for selected students on only those activities currently displayed on the Gradebook > Grades page.

To view embedded student reports:

Click Gradebook > Grades.
Navigate the question library to select the questions you want to include in the report.
Click Reports on the gradebook toolbar.
If you do not see the Reports menu it means your course is not enabled for embedded reporting (Enable embedded reporting is cleared on the Preferences > General page).
Select the student report (All Students and All Activities or All Students and Displayed Activities) you want to view.
To view a report for specific students, you must first select the students in the gradebook and then click Reports to select the student report (Selected Students and All Activities or Selected Students and Displayed Activities) you want to view.
Each report has a graph. Click the graph to open it in an expanded pop-up window.
To view detailed data, click Detailed Report. To return to the summary report, click the report name link in the upper-left corner of the page.
To print or download the report, click Print or Download button in the upper-right corner. For details see, Print and download reports.
To close the report window, click Close.

You can also run selected student or displayed activity reports from the student or activity options menus (available in the gradebook).
