Open and preview course materials

You can see how an asset appears to your students at any time. Depending on the asset type, you use either Open or Preview to see the asset.

1. Go to the Course Materials > Manage Course Materials or Course Materials > Add from Library page.
2. Select the asset you want to view. Click the three dot button to the right of the asset's name to view its context menu.
3. Select Preview or Open depending on which option appears for the asset type you selected.
4. If applicable, follow the on-screen prompts to interact with the asset the way your students would.

Depending on your course design, you may be able to click the asset name to preview or open it as your students see it. If this is the case, Preview or Open is the first choice on the asset's options menu.
