Copy and create courses

You can create new courses or create copies of courses at any time. You can copy courses you already teach or copy courses from other instructors who have made their course materials available for copying.

If your MyLab course is paired with a Learning Management System (LMS) course such as Blackboard Learn, you must create the course in the LMS. For details, go to Choose Your Learning Management System page and click the icon for the LMS you use.

  1. Click the My Courses link above the course title in the course banner.
  2. Click the Create/Copy Course button above the list of courses you are currently teaching.
  3. If want to limit the disciplines searched, select from the drop-down menu.
  4. Type an author's name, textbook title, or ISBN in the box.

  3. Enter a Course ID in the field provided or click Select from my existing course list.
  4. Select the course you want to copy.

  3. Enter the course ID for the course you want to copy. You get this ID from the other instructor.
  4. Select the course you want to copy.
