Enable anonymous submission and class average options

To display a class average row in the gradebook and enable anonymous student submissions, click Preferences > Grading and select Provide a class average. MyLab Languages instructors must enable this preference for teaching assistants.

When this option is selected, the following options are available in the Grading section of the activity's Preferences page for each activity type, as well as for readiness check or study plan pre-tests and post-tests:

• Students will be identified (default)
• Students will be anonymous

Additionally, the class average score for the activity appears in both the instructor and student gradebooks.

To remove class average scores from the instructor and student gradebooks, and disable anonymous submissions, clear the Provide a class average option.
