Access code details
An access code represents prepaid access to Pearson online courses and products. A student might buy an access code in an individual kit from a bookstore or it might come with a new text book. A sample access code is SIMPLE-FRILL-TONLE-WEIRS-CHOIR-FLEES.

- You can view but not change access code details. For changes, contact dcps@pearson.com.
- If there are more than 1,000 products associated with an access code or access code redemptions, a message notifies you and no items are displayed. If you're accessing CAS from a mobile device, you might encounter slow response times or need to re-start CAS.
General details
When an access code is used to register for a product, it's considered redeemed. An access code can be redeemed many times, but only once by an individual user. You can see an access code's:
- Dates through which the access code is valid for redemption.
- Maximum number of times the access code can be redeemed.
- Total times the access code has been redeemed.
- Number of redemptions remaining, calculated by subtracting the total redeemed from the maximum redemptions.
- Date on which the access code was last redeemed, if applicable.
- Identifier of the access code batch in which multiple access codes were created at once.
- Identifier of the access code type or template associated with the access code.
Products
An access code is used to register for one or more associated products. You can see the name, identifier, and status of an access code's products. Products are sorted alphabetically by name.
Redemptions
You can see the first and last name, username, role, and school of people who redeemed the access code. Redemptions are sorted by the last name.
