Select a purchase option
You can get access to your course with a prepaid access code or credit card. If available, use Apple Pay or PayPal. You also can get temporary access for a limited time before paying.
Before you start, review the information under Your course. If you see the wrong course, check your invitation link or course/program ID and select find your course.
An access code is included when you purchase an access kit or a new textbook. Access codes looks similar to this:

Select Access Code to enter your access code.
- Select the type of access you want purchase.
For example, your course might be offered with or without an eTextbook.
- Enter your billing information.
- Select Next to enter your payment information.
- Check your total.
- Select whether you want to pay by credit card or, if available, PayPal or Apple Pay.
- Enter your credit card information or use PayPal or Apple Pay.
If you use someone else's credit card, such as a parent's, tell the cardholder that the charge will show on their statement as Pearson Education.
- Select Place Order.
If your course offers temporary access, you’ll see Get temporary access without payment. Choose this option to access your course without payment for a limited time.
This option is not offered in all courses or to section instructors.

You can get a refund if you:
- Drop your course during your school's add/drop period.
- Pay for access online and then find a valid access code in your textbook.
- Decide within 14 days of your purchase that you don't want to use your course online.

Pearson uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt your information so no one can use the information you send over the Internet when you purchase. Your credit card information is only used for purchases through Pearson.
