Use an Access Code
An access code represents prepaid access to Pearson products. You might buy an access code in an individual kit from a bookstore or it might come with your new text book. If you use an access code for a registration, it cannot be used again. A sample access code is SIMPLE-FRILL-TONLE-WEIRS-CHOIR-FLEES.
When you finish a registration, you can immediately go to your Pearson product. If you do not already have an access code, you do not get one as the result of the registration.
To enter your access code:
- In the Access Code box, enter your access code with hyphens.
- Click Finish. A Review page appears where you can check your order details before completing your registration.
Get an Access Code
Students and instructors have different ways of getting access codes.
Students
- If you purchased a new textbook, look for the access code inside the first few pages of the book or in the printed access kit that is shrinkwrapped with the book.
- If you purchased a used textbook, the access code has probably been used. To purchase access separately:
- Check with your campus bookstore to see if you can purchase just the access code.
- Use a credit card or PayPal (U.S. only). Go to the product website to see if these payment options are available and follow the instructions.
Instructors
Go to the website for your product and follow the instructions for requesting access.
If there is no option to request access, contact your Pearson sales representative:
- In the United States, go to http://www.pearsonhighered.com/replocator.
- In Canada, go to http://vig.pearsoned.ca.
- In Europe, the Middle East, or Africa, go to http://vig.pearsoned.co.uk/replocator.
