Working with Access Rights
You can view and edit a user's access rights to RADmin functions.
To view a user's access rights:
Click the Access Rights tab on the Manage User page. Access rights are selected by a check-mark for the user based on these categories:
- View: The user can view, but cannot change or add new information.
- Create: The user can add new information.
- Edit: The user can change existing information.
- Tools: Shows tools the user can access and other actions the user can take. A user who can assign rights to other users has the Assign User Access Rights check box selected.
To edit the user's access rights:
- Click Edit information from the Access Rights tab. Check boxes appear for each category of rights.
- Select or clear the appropriate check boxes to set the user's access rights.
Note: If a user does not have access to a set of rights, related options do not appear in the RADmin menus.
- Click Save. A confirmation message appears and check marks () appear next to the rights belonging to the user.
