Entering Dates
To provide a date, you can:
- Type a date in the Date box.
- Select a date from the calendar.
To enter a date using the Date box:
- Enter the date in a numerical format or long form appropriate for your location (for example, 2-8-10 or February 8, 2012 for users in the United States).
- Enter today or tomorrow to provide the current date or the next day.
- Enter last month, where month is the name of month, to provide the month of the previous year (for example, last January indicates you want the date to be January of the previous year such as February 8, 2012).
- Enter + number days, where number is the number of days from the current date. For example, + three days indicates you want the date to be three days in the future from the current date.
When you navigate away from the Date box, RADmin automatically converts the value you entered to its long form, such as February 8, 2012.
To select a date using the calendar:
To open the calendar, click next to the Date box.
If no date is specified in the Date box, the current date is highlighted in the calendar. If a valid date is specified in the Date box, that date is highlighted in the calendar.
When you click a day in the calendar, it appears in the Date box along with the appropriate year.
You can switch the month and year by clicking the arrows at the top of the calendar. Depending on where you accessed the calendar, you might see lists of months and years from which you can select.
