Access Code

An access code represents pre-paid access to Pearson online products. You enter your access code during registration to identify the product you purchased from a bookstore.

Entering Your Access Code

You can type or copy and paste your access code. By default, multiple boxes are displayed for you to type in your access code. If you received an access code by email or another electronic method, you can also copy and paste the access code into a single box. To display a single access code box, click .

To type your access code:

• For an Access Code, type each part in the boxes displayed. Dashes are included for you.
• If you instead have an Activation ID and Pre-Assigned Password for access, type them in the boxes displayed.
  

To copy and paste your access code:

1. Copy your access code.
2. Click to display a single Access Code box.

3. Paste your access code into the single box.

Getting Your Access Code

If you purchased a new textbook, look for the access code inside the first few pages of the book or in the printed access kit that is shrinkwrapped with the textbook .

If you purchased a used textbook, the access code has probably been used. To buy access separately, check with your campus bookstore to see if you can purchase just the access code for the course.

If you are an instructor, contact your Pearson sales representative to get a student access code to enroll in a course. To find your representative:
