About assignments on mobile devices

Students can complete assignments in the student player on a tablet, laptop, or PC. Using the player on smartphones might not provide the best experience.

There are limitations for students using tablets:

• The Pearson LockDown Browser does not allow students to work on tablets.
• In older courses, students see a PDF version of any Flash-based eTextbook.
• In older accounting courses, Flash-based DemoDocs do not work on tablets.
• Not all assignments are fully optimized for accessibility.
• The student player can be used with the JAWS screen reader, but some capabilities are unavailable on tablets. Students with disabilities should work on a Windows PC or laptop.
