Customize the student Announcements page

You can choose the information displayed on the student Announcements page:

  1. Select Announcements Manager from the left menu.
  2. Select Announcements Page Settings.
  3. Under Style Options, select the type of Announcement page.

You see the settings available on the new or classic Announcement pages.

  • Calendar Options: Select the time period to display on the course calendar.
  • Progress Options:
    • Show or hide the student's overall score.
    • Set a minimum completion score for moving tests from the Current Assignments section to the Completed Assignments section.
  • Announcement Options: Show or hide announcements from Pearson.
  • Calendar Options: Show or hide the calendar and the information that helps students find their next assignments.
  • Progress Options:
    • Show or hide the student's overall score and progress chart.
    • Enter the minimum overall score students should achieve in the Results Target Line box. This minimum controls the graphs in Overall Score and Submission Progress.
  • Announcement Options: Show or hide announcements from Pearson.

When you frequently share your screen with students, you can select Student Home to go to the student Announcements page when you enter your program.

From the student Home, you can select View Instructor Home.
