Use the player for adaptive tests

When you take an adaptive test, the questions you have to answer depend on your answers to previous questions. Each time you answer a question, the adaptive engine gets a more accurate evaluation of your knowledge. The next question you see on the test is based on this continuous evaluation. Adaptive tests are an efficient way to demonstrate your skill levels.

Adaptive tests in MyMathTest are given in a special version of the player that works on both a tablet and a PC/laptop. (Answering questions on your smartphone is not recommended.)

When you are taking an adaptive test, the player looks similar to this example:

In math courses and some other courses, you can insert special mathematical formats and symbols (for example, fractions and square roots) into your answers. In the answer window, click inside the answer box to dropdown a blue symbol icon. Click the icon to pop up the math palette:

Change the settings and get player information

The gear icon in the upper-right corner drops down the following options:

Language changes the language used for the assignment information and instructions. The question content is not translated. About displays version information about the player.
