Dynamic Study Modules
Updated 19 Jan 2024
If your course includes Dynamic Study Modules (DSM) assignments, this application helps you practice. Dynamic Study Modules help you study and remember what you learn. Your instructor can assign Dynamic Study Modules as homework or you can complete modules for independent study at your option.
- Open the module and test your knowledge by answering multiple choice questions.
- Click or tap twice on an answer if you're sure.
- Click or tap once on one or two possible answers if you're not sure.
- Otherwise, select I don't know yet.
- Optionally check your progress as you answer.
Green bars at the top of the page show mastered questions. Click or tap the down arrow for more details about your question progress.
- When you finish the first round, Select Learn and use "What you need to know" to review the correct answers and explanations.
- Return to the module and either answer only the questions you missed (Smart Refresh) or all the questions (Refresh).
- Continue working until you master the module.
If the module has a due date, you must master the module before the due date to get full credit.
If you review an assigned module after the due date, you can redo the entire module without affecting your grade.
To view metrics about your performance on completed Dynamic Study Modules, choose My DSM Progress or Course Report from the Review Module page or the modules list page.
